The tradition air spacer is aluminum material ,it's with a relative high heat conductivity that the thermal conductivity is approximately 0.112W/K. Single panel glass outside surface always get the dew in winter cold area, this never happens to insulated glass. nsulatedglass is like a sealed cavity which boned with aluminum bar and glass with desiccant, insulated glass dew point up to -40'c ifflled with argon ,dew point decrease to -80°C.

Doors and windows become important escape routes when a fire occurs, therefore, the fire resistance of doors and windows is particularly important in home safety. Research shows that when heated, warm edge space can transmit only 0.15 watts of heat per second per square meter, while traditional aluminum alloy materials can transmit up to 160 watts of heat per second. The significant difference in data between these two proves the superiority of warm edge spacer in terms of fire resistance performance.

The warm spacer become more popular,according to statistics, in 1990, normal aluminum edge spacer insulated glass accounted for 85% of the market share, while warm edge spacer only accounted for 15%. However, by 2000, warm edge had risen to 80%, while aluminum edge spacer had decreased to 20%.
